Mum, I still feel like you are there with me and sis in bed reading so many fantastic stories together cuddled under your blanket on your bed. That was my safe space and I still think of so many nights together in the beautiful escape you gave us, it felt so amazing and I now have spent so many magical times reading to my children and escaping the world in the same way, with the same love and integrity you provided to make us believe things can be real and we really can we whatever we choose to be. You were the rock and the love that made me and all of us all so loving and strong. Mum, I will never forget the times we could talk about the outside world and know that we can have fun regardless of the goings on all around us, yet be so forgiving and loving to those around us to the point we are truly selfless. That word ‘selfless’ truly embodies your memory and I have so much respect and love for how amazingly you and dad have raised us to be, and I can only hope I can live up to being so emboldened and loving as you have been to everyone. I will miss every day I shall not spend in your colourful company or speaking to you over silly texts forevermore. You were a REAL mum and I am so proud to be your son. All my love forevermore. Thinking of you all at this very sad time

Mum - you were the best mother, Nanna, and best friend anyone could ever ask for. You were funny, fierce, gentle, ridiculously clever. A healer. A protector. You supported me in everything I did. You supported me as a mother myself. You supported your son-in-law when he needed it the most. You imparted so much knowledge onto your grandson. I could talk to you about ANYTHING... And I still will. Your body might be gone, but YOU are ALWAYS here... Your wild, real, free-thinking spirit lives on through us ❤️ Thanks for bringing me here, mum. I love you ❤️
