Jean MaryRICHMONDOf your charity, please pray for the repose of the soul of Jean Mary Richmond who passed away at home, on the 10th of April 2026, aged 79 years.

Devoted wife Jeannie to her beloved late husband Neil, much loved mum of Katie and Tim, loving grandma to Rachel, Andrew, Mia, Isabella and Ethan, sister to Kay. Jean was a former teacher at Henderson Avenue School, and will be sadly missed by all her many dear friends and past colleagues.

Would family and friends please meet at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe on Wednesday the 22nd of April 2026 at 10:40am for service and committal.

Family flowers only please but donations would be gratefully accepted for "Macmillan Cancer Support" c/o

I first met Jean at Sunday School 70 years ango and later we went to Boston High School at the same time. We have kept in touch over the years at reunions formal and informal and more recently online. Jean was a special friend, always caring, kind and very funny! I will miss her. I send my love to her family and all who mourn her. Rest in Peace my beautiful friend.

We were friends from September 1957 - when we met at Boston High School - to 2026.
Our friendship was a lasting one - through school and then for many years after that, and I am so thankful to have known you.
You were kind, funny and loyal.
In our retired years we enjoyed several reunions with old school friends in Boston.
And you were so kind when Claire was desperately ill with cancer 2 years ago.
I pray now for eternal blessings for you, Jean, and for comfort and strength for your cherished family.
