This Wondeful Man has been in my life since I was a young child. From being ‘Mr Rushton’ at primary school, to being ‘Malc’ at the Rep theatre. I’ll miss him so much. Always having a joke with me, always helpful and always great company. Thank you for everything Malcolm. A great man, gone too soon xx

Mr Rushton taught me in my final year at Alexandra Juniors in 1996. Put simply, he was the kindest, most genuine, all round best teacher I had ever met and ever did meet thereafter. He inspired me to want to teach and I am now a deputy headteacher myself because of him. Thank you Malcolm. X
