ROSEMARY PARKER BOWLESsadly lost a four-year battle with cancer on 10 January, 2010.Mrs Parker Bowles had been married for 14 years to Brigadier Andrew Parker Bowles. His first wife Camilla married Prince Charles and became Duchess of Cornwall.Mrs Parker Bowles was 68. She died at her home near Malmesbury, Wiltshire.Mrs Parker Bowles had three children by her first marriage. One of them, her son Henry Pitman, a former soldier, spoke of the family's pride at his mother's courage."It was a long, long illness but she was immensely brave, and bore her troubles with great strength and fortitude," he told the Daily Mail."She was especially pleased to reach Christmas and to be able to see her new step-grandchildren." Laura Lopes, daughter of Brigadier Parker Bowles by his first marriage, gave birth to twin sons on New Year's Eve.
