Jean ElizabethSHARPEIt is with great sadness we announce the loss of Jean who passed away peacefully at home on Monday 2nd November aged 82. Beloved Wife of Ken, much loved Mum to Karen and Kathryn, adored Nan, Great Grandma, Sister and Auntie. Jean will be sadly missed by all her family and friends and will be forever in our hearts. The funeral will take place at Polesworth Abbey on Monday 23rd November 2020 at 11.00am. This will be followed by the burial at St Matthews Church, Shuttington. Due to covid restrictions the funeral will be attended by 30 invited guests only. Donations, if desired, in memory of Jean may be made direct to Midlands Air Ambulance. A 'sonnet' for my sister:

I stepped out last night
And gazed at the sky:
A star was shining, O so bright!
It was my sister looking down
And telling me from Heaven
That she was alright -
In the arms of God
And all of her family
She's found peace
And rest, and so I say,
My dear, God Bless.
The Lord is merciful
And O so kind,
Eternal glory you will find.
