Vernon AlfredSHAWIt is with heavy hearts the family have to announce on Wednesday 29th January 2025, Vernon aged 99 years passed away peacefully whilst in the dedicated care of The Meadows Care Home in Scartho.
Vernon was the devoted Husband of the late José, much-loved Dad of Michael and an adored Grandad of Rachael.
Vernon was also a dear Brother-in-Law of Jacqui and a good Friend and Neighbour to all. Vernon will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A service to celebrate Vernon's life will take place at the Grimsby Crematorium on Wednesday 26th February 2025 at 1:30pm.
Family flowers only but if so desired, a donation for Royal British Legion in Vernon's memory may be donated online or given on the day of the service where upon a donation box will be situated in the Garden of Remembrance.
