Robert John RhysSHEARSSadly passed way after a long illness on 24 June at Holm Towers, a much loved brother and uncle. Resting at James Summers Funeral home, Lavernock Road, Penarth until the funeral service on 12th July, 10.00am at Cardiff and Glamorgan Crematorium, Port Road, Barry. Family Flowers only donations in memory of Rob may be sent to Marie Curie , Bridgeman Road Penarth CF64 3YR.

Well what can you say about Mr Shears firstly what a true gentleman he was to all & always went over & above to help everyone

I have such fond memories of working with him in the Cardiff branch of Co-operative Bank. All the customers loved him & colleagues would refer to Bob as the font of all knowledge. If Bob didn't know then there was something wrong lol. He always managed to put a smile on people's faces

Gone far too soon will be missed RIP Bob sleep tight x

My deepest condolences to Bob's family. Such a great loss, taken too soon. Will always remember Bob and how kind and helpful he was at work. He was a true gentleman and will be sadly missed.
