Terence JohnSILCOCKTerry's family are heartbroken to announce the passing of an amazing, gentle and kind husband, dad, grandad, brother and uncle, and a valuable friend to many, peacefully at home, with his family by his side, in the house and village he loved, on 8th November 2024, aged 83 years.

A service to celebrate Terry's life will be held at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe on Thursday 21st November at 1.20pm. Colourful, casual clothing - black attire not necessary.

Family flowers only please. If desired, donations in Terry's memory, to benefit Macmillan Health Care Team (payable to The Health Tree Foundation) and British Heart Foundation, may be made following the service or sent c/o J Naylor Funeral Directors, Comforts Avenue, Scunthorpe DN15 6PN Tel (01724) 280082

I knew Terry many years ago from Lysaghts then the shop on Doncaster road. He was a few years older than me but I always remember the way he treated me. He was so friendly, whenever I met him. He really was one of the nicest people I have ever met. I never forgot him and the way he was. An example to how we all should be. Condolences and sympathies to you all. RIP Terry.
