StanleySMITHWith heavy hearts, the family announce Stan, aged 88 years of Bucknall sadly passed away at the RSUH on Sunday 19th May 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

A most wonderful and much loved husband to Elsie, loving and devoted dad to Lesley and Jackie, dear father-in-law to Barrie and Jim, treasured grandad to David, Fran, Kathryn and Jack and treasured great-grandad to Mhari and Remy.

Stan will always be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all his family and friends.

Service to take place on Wednesday 5th June at Bucknall Methodist Church at 11.30am followed by cremation at Carmountside Crematorium.

Will relatives please accept this intimation, friends kindly meet at the church.

Family flowers only, donations if desired in memory of Stan to either Bucknall Methodist Church or Dementia UK.

It was with much sadness that we learned of Stan’s passing. He had been a good friend to Horace and Freda Addison and been an invaluable support to Freda after Horace’s passing. Sending much love and condolences to Elsie, Lesley and Jackie and family at this very sad time from the Addison family
