Ruth ErnestineSMITHof Somerton, passed away peacefully at home on 9th January 2025, aged 85 Years.

Dearly loved wife of the late Gerald, mother to Anthea and Harvey, nanny to Holly, Katie and Leah and great-nan to Mya and Ivy-Rose.

Funeral service to take place at St Michael and All Angels' Church, Somerton on Tuesday 28th January at 2:00pm followed by cremation.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, for British Heart Foundation may be made online at funeral-notices.co.uk, or cheques made payable to the charity may be forwarded to Forsey & Son, Pound Pool, Somerset, TA11 6LZ.

In memory of a lovely Auntie. We will cherish the memories we have of the few times we met on our visits to Somerset and seeing the paintings, reading the poems she had written and that she was so good at.
