SusanSMITHSue very sadly passed away peacefully on Wednesday 23rd September 2026, in the wonderful care of the Douglas MacMillan Hospice, after a short illness courageously fought with great strength and dignity. Sue aged 75 years of Baldwins Gate, the devoted daughter to June, a treasured and loving wife to Derek, a dearly loved mum to Oliver and Sarah, a dear mother in law to Maggs, a much loved Nana to Ted and Penny, also a beloved cousin and a very dear friend to many. Sue will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her loving family and friends.

Funeral service and cremation to celebrate Sue's life will take place at Bradwell Crematorium on Wednesday 21st October 2026 at 11.20am. Would friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the Crematorium.

Following Sue's service everyone is kindly invited to join the family for refreshments and share more memories at Newcastle Golf Club, Whitmore Road, Newcastle ST5 2QB. Messages of condolence maybe left on the funeral directors website www.kevinlowndsfuneralservices.com Family flowers only please donations would be preferred in memory of Sue to The Brain Tumour Charity and the Douglas MacMillan Hospice. A donation box will be available at the crematorium via the funeral directors should anyone wish to make a donation on the day. All enquiries to:
