John Ernest VictorSTEVENS(1937 - 2020) Sadly passed away at home on 15th July 2020, after a long illness, bravely borne. Dearly loved husband of Gwenyth, father of Julie and Alyson, Grandpa of Michelle, Marc, Kerry and Nick, Great-Grandpa of Harry, Ruby, Oscar, Madison, Charlie and Eddie. "You were always there when we needed you, no task too great or too small, with a loving heart and willing hand, for us you did it all. God bless and thanks for all you've done, we know that God has given you the crown you've truly won." John's funeral will take place at South Leicestershire Crematorium on Friday 14th August at 11am. Numbers inside are limited and will therefore be family only. However, if you wish to attend, the service can be heard within the grounds, allowing for social distancing. Alternatively, if you wish to watch the service, there will be a live stream available upon request. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, in John's memory may be made to Rainbows Hospice for Children & Young People, along with any further enquiries c/o Richard Ward Funeral Services Ltd. 2b Cross Street, Enderby Leicester.
