David RoySTRINGERSadly, on Saturday the 8th of August 2026, David passed away peacefully at home aged 80 years. A very special and treasured husband of 58 years to Linda. A dearly loved dad to Melanie and the late Lindy and father in law to Mark and Tino. A beloved grandad to Ben, Abbie and Sam. A loving brother to Kate, Helen and brother-in-law to Gerry and the late Ed. Dave was a special friend to many, who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A service to celebrate Dave's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Wednesday the 2nd of September at 11:15 am. Please wear a splash of colour to remember Dave by.
By request family flowers only, but donations in Dave's memory can be sent directly to, The Care Plus Group Charity, Westgate Park, Charlton Street, Grimsby, DN31 1SQ. These donations would be gratefully received to help purchase a specific and essential piece of equipment (syringe drivers) that helped Dave in his final days.
