Della MaySWAINA lifetime resident of Overseal and a former Nurse at both Burton & Bretby, Della sadly passed away at the age of 90 years on Saturday 22nd June 2024.

Much loved wife of the late Austin, treasured Mum to Karen, David and Gerry, beloved Grandma to Faye and a loved friend to many.

A Celebration of her life will be held at Bretby Crematorium - Willow Service Room on Wednesday 10th July 2024 at 2:30pm.

All are welcome to attend & all are asked in Della's honour to wear bright and colourful attire.

Family flowers only by kind request.

Any donations in Della's memory will benefit the continued work of The Air Ambulance Service.

The family welcome you to join them at The Bulls Head, 1 Woodville Road, Hartshorne, DE11 7ET, after the service.

What a wonderful person.
Della was full of giving and full of life. Jacky & I spent some memorable times in her company.
Her sharp wit and even sharper tongue was a pleasure to witness...unless aimed at me.
At the end of this next journey, let's hope they have fully stocked the Bailey's shelf.
