In memory of Dave (Chopper) - a funny, cheeky, kind and charismatic character who enhanced the lives of those around him! It is strange to think I haven’t seen him for decades yet I can remember as if yesterday - the fun atmosphere he always created and the very good friend he was to my brother. I know he is sincerely missed by those whose lives he touched. A life well lived!

Many happy memories of the Character who was Dai (Chopper) Thomas, those early motorcycling days in Blaen y Maes, and endless fun. Sleep well Dave, the final ride will bring you the peace you deserve. 🥲

I'm sorry I couldn't be there to send off Uncle David, I remember David fondly from when I was a kid and he had a positive impact on me growing up, from showing me how to play pool in his local, to the dad joke humour I share with him and my dad. I remember looking up to him as a kid and how his, always smiley happy and jovial personality being infectious wherever we went. He will be sadly missed. He was a bright star that everyone knew and a real character. I have fond memories of going to the welcome inn with Dave, Carol and all the family for meals and meeting up either in Swansea or down the Gower at the clubhouse in Oxwich bay.
