CatherineTHORPIt is with great sadness we have to announce that Cath passed away on 29th December 2024 aged 81 years in the wonderful care of the Stroke Unit, Calderdale Royal Hospital.
Much loved and loving wife of Steve, devoted mother of Helen and her partner Michael, Mark and his wife Diane, doting grandma of Stephen and Bethany, sister, sister-in-law, auntie and good friend to all who knew her.
Cath will be received into St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, New North Road on Tuesday 21st January 2025 for Requiem Mass at 12.00pm followed by interment at Hey Lane Cemetery, Castle Hill.
No flowers at Cath's request. Donations in lieu would be appreciated to be shared between Kirkwood Hospice and Forget Me Not Children's Hospice.
Fortified by the rites of the Catholic Church.
