JanetTILLFormer Mayor of Derby and Chair of The Liversage Trust.

Passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on the 7th February 2024 aged 75 years.

A much loved mum to Graham, Debbie, Joanna and Lindsey. A loving nana and great grandmother and also a good friend to many. She will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held at Trent Valley Crematorium on Thursday 29th February at 3.30 pm.

Family flowers only please, but if desired donations in Janet's memory for 'Treetops Hospice' may be made online by visiting funeral-notices.co.uk or may be placed in the donation box at the end of the service.

Janet was well known for her love of colour, so do not feel the need to wear traditional black; please feel free to wear colour to celebrate her life.

Thinking of Janet's family and friends at such a sad sad time. I was fortunate to have been on the local government committee when Janet was mayor of Derby and spoke to her numerous times. Janet was extremely caring and always spoke passionately about things that mattered. Janet always put people first, a beautiful lady inside and out.
