RexTRIPPIERof Waingate Close, Rawtenstall, passed away at the Royal Blackburn Hospital on February 20, aged 95. During his career, Rex was Headmaster at St James Church of England Primary School in Blackburn. He was a member of Rossendale Male Voice Choir, an avid traveller, reader and gardener. He enjoyed the Times crossword every day and loved going to Bridgewater Hall and the Halle Classical music. He was a member of the Rifle Club, Probus and The Round Table. Husband to Constance, father to son Jason, daughter Natasha and he had seven grandchildren. The funeral service, led by the Rev Samuel Hameem and the Rev Denise Smith will be held on Wednesday, March 5, at noon at St Mary and All Saints Church, Crawshawbooth. This will be followed by private interment at Rawtenstall Cemetery.
