Mrs Wade was a wonderful lady and a much loved Primary school teacher at Emmanuel C of E school. I'm sure she would be pleased to know that her students have reunited after fifty years and remain the best of friends. Thank you for providing us with the best possible start to our education and for creating happy, long-lasting memories. Stephanie

I had the absolute pleasure of crossing paths with Sylva during Covid where I supported her with food shopping. Afterwards we became good friends.

What she achieved in life through teaching and creating the U3A in Loughborough is an inspiration to us all. Sylvia took great pride in wanting people to enjoy learning as well as gain friendships and memories along the way.

I’ll miss our takeaways and Saturday night tv, our chats about cats, travelling and life xx
