The obituary notice of Claire WATSON

We only met Claire relatively late in our lives, but her warmth and lovely personality ensured she became an immediate good friend of ours. This dreadful illness took her too soon and it was upsetting to witness the impact it had on Pete, who continued to visit and support Claire daily, with his love and devotion, providing as many "home comforts" as possible. Walks around the garden, watching TV together and even managing to have a dance in Claire's room, which she always loved. Such a loving couple who were dealt such awful blows.

Dearest Claire,

Thank you for all the care, support, and love you showed me and my brothers. I will never forget your many small kindnesses and the good times we shared as a family. You & Dad made a lovely couple and I’ll cherish the days and moments we spent with you both in Plymouth at your home and when you came to visit in London.

It was a privilege to know you and thank you for making Dad so happy over your many years together.

Rest easy now in the peace that you gave everything you had to your family and were much loved by us all.
