Leslie DuncanWEAVERLeslie Weaver passed away peacefully at the Leicester Royal Infirmary on Tuesday 18th August 2026, aged 76 years.

Proud Welshman, devoted LCFC supporter of over 50 years, and much loved husband and father.

To many he was "Les from Buckingham Quality Kitchens"; to others, "lovely, helpful Les from Grange Road"; and to countless more, the kindest, sweetest Santa lookalike you could ever meet.

He brought warmth, grumpy humour and gentleness wherever he went. He will be deeply missed, and we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace and free from pain.

Friends and family are warmly invited to join Bridgid, Amy, Jim and Lou in saying goodbye and celebrating the life of someone who was truly "one of the good ones".

Les' funeral service will be held at Great Glen Crematorium on Thursday 10th September 2026 at 3.30pm.

There is no need to wear black.

Gathering afterwards:

The Yews Pub Restaurant, 29 London Road, Great Glen, Leicester LE8 9FL

Family flowers only, please or donations, if desired may be made in Les' memory to Blood Cancer UK or to the Leicester Royal Infirmary Hospitals Charity. For all further enquiries to Central Coop Funeral, 511 Welford Road Leicester, LE2 6BN

In memory of a special brother, Les. A 'big' brother when we were growing up. After leaving Knighton, you were always there to give valued expertise and practical help, wherever we were - in Telford, Walldorf or Ailleville. You will be greatly missed.

Dear Les, you were a good friend to us for many years - responsible, humorous, helpful and endearing. Thank you so much for that. You enjoyed so much about your visits to Germany - except for the bread. May you rest in peace, in a world without illness or worries. My thoughts are with Bridgid, Amy, James and Louise.
