I woke today with a heavy heart , a sad goodbye awaits 💔 an uncle I was lucky enough to inherit through marriage , an uncle that took the time to call and check how we all were , an uncle with a genuine interest in our lives , an uncle the kids could never understand with his strong accent , “mum I think it’s uncle Dennis on the phone as I can’t understand him”😂 he was never “just” an uncle through marriage he was my very precious Uncle Dennis too ❤️ , now all we have are memories and photos , but memories full of stories, laughter and love , a true gentleman , a kind heart , a big smile that lit his face and laugh I will hear forever ❤️ give Auntie June a big cuddle from us as you light up the sky together , as we say goodbye today I will blow the biggest kiss and hold you tightly in my heart ❤️ love always and forever , Chris , Andy, Jodie & Heidi ❤️ xxxx

Lovely Lovely man who will be very sadly missed.

Not related by blood but he was my Uncle Dennis as soon as I married his nephew Evan. Loved his lovely Christmas phone calls. Proper gentle. Rest in peace.

It is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to such a well loved Uncle who we remember fondly, an Uncle who I could never quite understand without some intense listening but who would always have a story to tell and always with a laugh. I always remember the kids say I think it's Uncle Dennis on the phone as we cant understand him. Rest peacefully and you will be glad to know your stories will live on. x
