Mary RobinsonWINIFREDOn Saturday February 9 2008, in Tameside Hospital, Winifred Mary, aged 94 years, formerly of 3, School Avenue, Ashton. Beloved Daughter of the late James and Lena Robinson, and Sister of Harry and Marie. Her loss will be mourned by her Brother Harry, her Nephew Gordon and his Wife Dorothy, her Nephews and Nieces, Margaret, Andrew, Gillian and David, and also her carer A keen bridge player, amateur painter and former golfer, she led an active life until fairly recently, and will be sadly missed by her many Friends from Hyde Art Class, from Ashton-under-Lyne Golf Club (where in her younger days she won a number of trophies): and by those still living who worked with her during the years that she held the post of Lady Almoner Tameside Hospital. Service and Committal at Dukinfield Crematorium on Thursday February 21 at 1.30pm. Family flowers, donations to Marie Curie Cancer Care. Enq.
