A generous genuine gentleman. Always had a welcome apart from when fixing dad’s boiler that tried his patience.

Des was a great friend for so many years and I struggle to understand a world without him. I will never forget what he did for us and, especially for my Mum. Des, we had a lot of fun times and we will miss you. X

What a lovely person Des was couldn’t wish to meet a nicer man. Rob and I had some brilliant nights out with him in the Royal Oak we have both known him most of our lives and he will be truly missed by us both. R.I.P Des.
