IanADAMSONADAMSON Peacefully at Stirling Royal Infirmary on Monday, 19th April, 2010, Ian Gilchrist Adamson aged 87 years of Abbot Road, Stirling. Beloved husband of the late Jean (Jinty) Adamson, devoted dad of Jacqueline and the late Grant, dearest father-in-law to Julia and a treasured papa to Laela and Samantha. My Uncle Ian


I was named, Ian, after my mother's brother. From birth Ian and I have had a special relationship. Whilst my parents lived overseas Ian acted as my Guardian - a role that he took most seriously although always tempered by a bit of humour and lots of love. My wife, Nada & I will always remember him principally for two qualities - his special brand of humour and his impeccable gentlemanly manners.
We will both miss him greatly.
Our deepest sympathies to all he left behind.
