John StephenADKINof Belton passed away in hospital on February 20th aged 81 years. Much loved husband of Jean, loving father of Jane and Josephine, grandad of Stephen, Emily, Oliver, Sasha and Serena, great grandad of Amelia. Will be greatly missed by family and friends. John's funeral service will take place at St John the Baptist Church Belton on Thursday 4th March at 2.30pm. Family flowers only. Donations if desired for The British Heart Foundation. Losing Uncle John will leave a massive void in our lives. He was a giant of a character & taught me hard work from a young age. I spent many holidays working & in early days more manual certainly earned my pocket money!
Over recent years we shared our passion in the countryside with many hours spent in the fields watching with country folk. He will always be remembered for his laughter & engaging others. xx
