LilyAINSWORTHLILY Ainsworth, of Rossendale, passed away after a short illness at Ashlands Nursing Home on Thursday, October 24, aged 87. She was a machinist in the footwear industry in Stacksteads. Lily loved ballroom dancing, gardening, holidays abroad and caravanning. She was a former member of Tunstead Choir. Loving wife of the late David Ainsworth, she leaves nephews, nieces and many friends. A funeral service took place on Thursday, November 7, at Burnley Crematorium at 10.40am, conducted by Rev David Brae. Donations are requested to Cancer Research UK.
