From Carol and Neil Barker to Brian

Dear Brian
This is a message from Carol and Neil in Chiswick. You have been looking after us for so many years, it is inadequate to just say thank you.
You built my lovely house through thick and thin with the council and many others causing us a lot of grief. You then converted Geogff's house so everywhere was flat
and he could walk around without having to use stairs. You then started on Neil's house and put in wonderful velux windows and a beautiful extension, again with your
perfect underfloor heating.
You were always there when we had an emergency and also for many of our friends - Rosie, Lindsay, Val, Della, Agnes, Lynette, Maureen, to name just a few.
You were like part of the family and we are finding it very difficult not to be able to call for a chat. Brian was in London for over fifty years. Mary and Marion
and all your friends in London and round about miss you so much and we will now have to get used to not seeing your blue van.
Really sad that the last few months were so hard for you. A goodbye from us all, you will not be forgotten, and many many thanks for all the help over the years.
Carol Barker
