BrianAITKENAITKEN Sadly taken from his loving family on the 10th December, 2010, Brian passed away with his children by his side at Crosshouse Hospital. Dearly loved husband of the late Elaine, a wonderful irreplaceable father of Brian, Deanne, Adele and Ian. Much cherished papa to Erin and Connor. Loving brother of Cathie and the late Jack and Margaret. Funeral service on Friday 17th December at 11.15am at Old Parish Church, Irvine, thereafter to Knadgerhill Cemetery, arriving 12.15pm. Dad you were just "Simply The Best".

Missing you dad xxx


Our wonderful irreplaceable best friend our wee dad & papa taken from us 2 years passed today. We love and miss you so much dad, it's still a shock to us that you are no longer with us, and the pain of losing you lives with us each and every day, how we'd love to see your smiling face again. Dear dad xx


Tomorrow is a big day for Erin, and another hurdle we have to cross without having you and mum to share this special day with Erin. I know that you'll be watching over her as she ventures off to Greenwood. I love and miss you so much dad,and I just wish you were here. D x

Uncle brian what can i say a year has passed since you went away
You were so kind to me always remember the summer days when you made me chocolate ice lollys and you took me to the beach and i collected 2 full buckets of shells then when i came back you and aunt elaine both made me wash them at the sink haha that was a special day there are so many memories that are still in my mind but there are far too many to post on here but they will always be with me forever.
everyone misses you i always speak to brian and deanne and its so hard not being able to visit you just now but i will soon i promise! im still trying to get my head around it all its been 13 months and i still to this day will always remember the 10th december when you passed away it was so sad :( but i always try to think of all the things we done together
