My sincere condolences to Dr Akande's family who he absolutely adored. I worked with him at SGH between 1981 and 1987 and he was a beacon of joy to work with and his patients loved him because he was so kind. He certainly left an amazing impression on me. RIP

So sad to hear of Dr. Akande. I worked with him at Scunthorpe hospital. He was a lovely man, full of mischief with an amazing smile that lit up the room. I have often thought and talked about him with affection. Sending my love and condolences to all the family.
RIP Dr. Akande xx

In loving memory of my dear uncle and father a beacon of kindness and warmth. His laughter filled rooms, his wisdom guided paths, and his love embraced us all. Forever cherished, forever missed. Rest peacefully, dear uncle, your legacy of goodness lives on in our hearts.
