DavidALDERSONDavid of Eaglescliffe passed away peacefully on 25th September aged 66 years after battling a long illness. A much loved son of Catherine and the late Stanley and beloved brother and uncle, who will be sadly missed and forever in our thoughts. David's final wish and act of kindness was that his body be donated to scientific research with donations if desired to Action For Pulmonary Fibrosis. Due to the above there will be no funeral or memorial until a later date.

David, I’ll forever be grateful that you were my brother. I will miss your sense of humour, smile and all the lovely times we had together but you are now at peace and can finally rest after fighting bravely for so long.
All my love, Carole xx

Always ready with a welcoming smile and an affable story, David, my brother-in-law will be sorely missed and never forgotten. He embraced life with courage and will always be an inspiration to me.

Words cannot fully express the depth of our loss and how greatly David will be missed. His life was too brief but at least he is now in peace. We will always treasure the fond memories we have of David and never forget how brave and positive he was until the very end.
