I wish to add a few words in memory of Mr Ewart Alexander. I was fortunate to have him as a teacher in Maesydderwen between 1958 and 1963. He was the perfect teacher, always prepared to listen to any problems. His patience and gentleness was outstanding. I extend my condolences to his family at this sad time.
RIP to a great man.

i would like to pay tribute to Ewart Alexande rof Ystradgynlais.
I first met Ewart when he came to teach at Maes-Y Dderwen in the 1950's. He was a breath of fresh ai rand spoke to us as adults. He had a wonderful sense of humour and was a keen Rugby man. He arranged an exchange between Maes-Y-Dderwen and East ham Grammar School in London. We had a wonderful time on this exchange .
I want to take this opportunity to thank Ewart for showing me how to write an essay. " Th first paragraph should be no more than 5 to 6 sentences".
thank you Ewart and RIP
