Patricia MargaretALGEROf Liverpool Road, Hutton, Preston sadly passed away suddenly in her sleep at home on Sunday 13 November 2022, aged 73 years. Pat leaves behind her beloved husband Robert, sons Paul and Philip and grandchildren Lottie, Toby and Zach. Pat was the only child of Eileen and James Dobson and was born in Ormskirk, subsequently moving to Carnforth, attending Morecambe Grammar School. Pat worked at Westminster Bank in Ormskirk between 1966 and 1976 and subsequently as proprietor of the haberdashery/clothes store 'Rileys' in Burscough in the 1990s until her retirement in 2003. Pat was a very kind and gentle person and will be fondly remembered by her family and friends for her many special attributes, not least her love to laugh. Pat constantly put others before herself, taking an interest in all aspects of her family's and friends' lives. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her. The funeral will take place at West Lancashire Cemetery & Crematorium, Pippin Street, Burscough on Friday 2nd December at 11am followed by a wake at The Kicking Donkey, 50 Narrow Moss Lane, Ormskirk. Please come along if you can and raise a glass of sherry to Pat. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Mind would be welcome c/o the funeral director.
