ALI OLLIE WOODSONAli ‘Ollie’ Woodson, a former lead singer of The Temptations, died on 30 May, 2010.He was the main voice of The Temptations for most of the 1980s and 90s, and wrote and sang lead on the 1984 hit Treat Her Like a Lady.He had been suffering with cancer and died at the age of 58.As well as working with The Temptations, he also released a solo album, Right Here All Along, in 2001Born in Detroit in September 1951, he will be remembered as a singer, songwriter, keyboardist and occasional actor.

I am so sad. I am truly going to miss Ollie. We were blessed to hear him quite often at the City Of Refuge. on Sunday mornings. Ollie had one of the greatest voices of all times. I was praying for him; but it was in Gods will. My prayers go out to his wife, son and daughter. God is on yor side. May you rest in peace Ollie Woodson.

I AM A GOOD FREIND OF ALI WOODSON WE HAD JUST TALKED A FEW WEEKS AGO. MY HEART IS WEAK MY MIND IS LOST AND I DONT KNOW WHAT TO FEEL, BUT I WILL SAY THAT THE LAST TIME WE TALKED IT WAS ABOUT GOD AND I TOLD HIM THAT THE CD HE DIED THAT ALI WROTE WAS WHAT WILL KEEP HIM AT EASE IN THESE TIMES. HE WAS A GOOD MAN AND ALL I CAN SAY IS GOON TO SOON. HE WAS MY BEST FREIND AND HE WILL BE MISSED. MAY GOD BE WITH YOUR WIFE AND KIDS FOR I KNOW ITS HARD, ITS HARD ON ME. IF YOU DONT HAVE THE CD HE DIED ITS TIME FOR YOU TO GET IT TO KNOW HOW CLOSE HE WAS WITH GOD.
