Janet AnnALLARDIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Ann Allard, a beloved Wife and cherished Mother, who passed away peacefully on 22nd September 2026, aged 86 years.
Janet spent her life working as a butcher and became a familiar and much-loved face in and around Loughborough. Known for her hard work, friendly nature and warm smile, she made many lasting friendships and touched the lives of countless people throughout the years.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Janet leaves behind precious memories that will be treasured forever.
A service to celebrate Janet's life will be held at Long Whatton Church on Tuesday 20th October at 11:00am, followed by burial in the church grounds. All are warmly welcome to attend.
In honour of Janet's vibrant spirit, family and friends are invited to wear bright colours to celebrate her life.
Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, may be made in Janet's memory to Age UK.
