Desmond WilfredALLENIt is with great sadness that the death of Desmond is announced. Desmond died in the Countess of Chester Hospital on 2nd April 2020 following a stroke. He was a very proud Cornishman. His prized possession was his scooter, his passport to the world following a debilitating stroke 29 years ago. He loved to shop in Hoole, where he enjoyed coffee and chatting to everyone. Desmond spent the past two years living at Abbots Wood. He was a very popular man with a wonderful sense of humour who was known and liked by all. Desmond will be sadly missed by all his friends and neighbours who will remember him as the lovely gentleman he was. A celebration of his life will be held for his friends at a later date.
