LisaALLENLISA Allen passed away peacefully in hospital on Thursday, December 24, aged 55. During her life Lisa had various careers which included teaching, being a former councillor for the St Oswald’s Ward in Oswaldtwistle, and most recently as a pub and restaurant manager at the White Bull, New Lane, Oswaldtwistle. In her spare time, Lisa was very committed to her local community and was a member of many local groups including the Oswaldtwistle & Accrington Carnival Committees, where she played a vital role in overseeing and leading the Health & Safety Teams. She was also involved in the Accrington Community Event Team and previously the Oswaldtwistle Welfare Group. She also enjoyed reading and spending time with her best friend Sheena, which included attending many voluntary and community charitable events. Lisa will be very sadly missed by her loving family, her friends, and her community colleagues. She sadly leaves behind her much loved sons Josh and Jake, her loving grandchildren Roseanne and Alfie, and her many beloved friends. A private funeral service will be held for immediate family and very close friends only due to the current restrictions. Family flowers only please, but donations are welcomed in memory of Lisa for the Hyndburn Hub and may be made by phone, by post, or by envelope drop off at the funeral home (Accrington or Oswaldtwistle).
