Always in our thoughts, John, best man at my wedding in 1959 to his best friend John WG Wilson - whose friendship together since Kelly days is recalled with great fondness for a man of wit and wonder. Our condolences to his family and Noss Mayo.

My mother- Anna Vivien Griffiths has such wonderful memories of her, John, the late Elizabeth( Johns sister) and Barry particularly during WW2 as children playing together , and she and John kept in touch all throughout Johns life. He was always kind to me and Kasia, Charlie and we enjoyed a number of wonderful stays a few years back at his caravan in Revelstoke. He will be sorely missed and I will miss our often chats on the phone. MHDSRIP Sean
