Kenneth EdwardALLENKen aged 94 years of Peterchurch, Herefordshire, formerly of Heaton Mersey passed away on 6th January at Hereford County Hospital following a period of declining health. Much loved father of Juliette and Barnaby, father-in-law of Phillip and much loved brother of the late Joyce. Old Mancunian boy who left in 1944 and former President of Heaton Mersey Cricket, Tennis and Lacrosse Club. Ken elected to donate his body for medical research but a Memorial Service will take place on Friday 27th January at 2pm at St Bartholomew's Church, Vowchurch. No flowers please but donations to the Peterchurch branch of the Royal British Legion. Enquiries to family at: lr14eyf@gmail.com or 01981-551932.
