RobALLENIt is with deep sadness that we announce Rob passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on the 9th April 2023. Dearly loved husband of Jeanette. Cherished Dad to Jodie and James. Son of May and the late Jim. Much loved brother to Noel, Dermot and Bernadette. Rob will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. A Funeral Service for Rob will be held at Markeaton Crematorium on Friday 5th May 2023 at 1:30pm in the Main Chapel. Floral tributes welcomed care of G.T. Edwards Ilkeston. Donations in loving memory of Rob to support Treetops Hospice may be given at the service or made directly to the charity.

Absolutely gutted! Rob was one of lifes genuinely lovely people. A great bloke taken far too soon so many great memories, especially watching the Rams. RIP Mate.

Rob, I'm so fortunate to have been a close friend of yours for over 40 years. You didn't deserve this mate and was taken far too soon. I will always think of you as a loving family man and a loyal friend. Rest easy mate. I will miss you and finally thanks for the memories. RIP
