GillianALLENnee Crompton, of Park Road, Waterfoot, passed away at the Royal Blackburn Hospital on April 2, aged 64 years. Gillian was a carer for people with learning disabilities. She enjoyed socialising with friends, reading and gardening. She leaves behind her sister Elaine, brother-in-law Peter. Nephews Stuart and Daniel and their wives Sarah and Leontia as well as great-nieces Alice and Betty and many friends and family in Australia and in Rossendale. A service will be held on Wednesday, April 16, meeting at Chapel of Rest at 10.50am, followed by a cremation at Accrington Crematorium at 11.40am conducted by Kathy Unsworth. Family flowers only, donations to Muscular Dystrophy. Donations can be made online: - www.fredhamer. co.uk (tributes and donations). Funeral Director: Dawn Winfield Fred Hamer Funeral Service.

My beautiful friend Gill. Such a kind ,caring and lovely friend . We spoke only in February but now Ive learned that you passed away in April I'm so sorry that I didnt know. We had so much fun working together and we had a silly humour only we understood. Ive been going through our old messages . We should have met up that day but circumstances meant you couldn't come. I will have to wait to see you in Heaven now my mate Gill ♥️ think Frankie, Eric and Dennis needed you up there with them . Will never forget you 💔 God will take care of you now beautiful lady xxx
