JoanALLISON-TATEDied suddenly but peacefully on Wednesday January 26th 2005, aged 63 years, at the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary with her family around her. Beloved wife of Barrie, mother of Chris, daughter of Peggy and sister of Michael. Joan had fought bravely against cancer for the last 12 months but her health deteriorated after Christmas. Joan trained as a teacher at Ripon and taught at many primary and secondary schools in and around Derby. She retired from full-time teaching some 13 years ago, married Barrie Tate and moved to Bull Bay, Anglesey, although she kept a home in Derby which she visited frequently. The funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Mickleover on Thursday February 3rd at 9.30am, followed by cremation at Markeaton Crematorium at 10.45am. The family request that all floral tributes are sent to G. Wathall and Son Limited, 101-111 Macklin Street, Derby, DE1 1LG.Requiescat In Pace.
