WilfredALLSOPP(Author of a "A Poet Looks At Life") Ashington Passed away in hospital with his family by his side on 12th January 2024 aged 92 years. Wilf dearly loved Husband of Vivian, devoted Dad of Jill, Kay & Claire. Greatly missed Father in law of Geoff & Don, adored Grandad of Jade, Gareth, Adam, Holly & Ragen, a Great Grandad of Tabitha, Tallulah & Eve. Much loved by Guy, Christine, Amber, Edward & Rory. Wilf will be missed by all of his family & those who knew him, more than words can say.

Funeral service to take place at St John's Church Seaton Hirst on Wednesday 7th February at 11.15am, followed by committal at Cowpen Crematorium, Blyth.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to the British Heart Foundation. A donation box will be available at the crematorium and Woodhorn. All welcome afterwards for refreshments & to celebrate Wilf's life at the premises of A.J.Gascoigne & Son Woodhorn Village,

We’ll miss Uncle Wilf. A true gentleman and great brother to my dad Don. Our son Ben still remembers playing chess with him as a boy. Our thoughts are with Aunt Vivienne and all the family. xx

So sorry to hear of the passing of Wilf, he was a lifetime friend as well as a workmate. Sorry can'tmake the funeral as will be on holiday, but have left a £50 donation to the charity of his choice.
