EdnaANDERSONAnnouncing the passing of Edna Anderson of North Shields, Newcastle West End, and latterly Ponteland. Died peacefully on the 4th August in Ponteland at age 100.

Mother to the late Judi Hill, widow of Bill. Survived by her two grandchildren and beloved sister Margaret.

Well known as Mrs Anderson from Anderson's Sweet Shop in Ponteland.

Funeral Monday 19th August at 10:00 at St Mary's Church, Ponteland, then Newcastle West Road Crematorium at 11:15. Afterwards at the Blackbird Inn, Ponteland.

Mrs A, you and Mr A were the best bosses ever, I grew up working in Anderson's and judies toy shop. We had A lot of adventurers together over the years. Don't miss grating 10 kg of cheese everyday for the sandwiches but you taught me how to make that exotic dish at the time spaghetti Bolognese, and all there ever was to know about wine. Wish we could go back and do it again. The stories we could tell. Will never forget you, say hello to Mr A and judi from me. Love and memories. Pam xxxxx
