ANTHONY MARSHALLAnthony Marshall, a family man known to family and friends as ‘Ginge’, died in a road accident while out jogging near his home in Probus, near Truro.Mr Marshall, was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital shortly after the incident on 28 November, 2009, but died sooner after. He was 35 and about to become a father for the second time.He left a partner, Hannah Thomas, and three-year-old daughter, Esme.In a series of moving tributes, family and friends spoke of their "utter grief" at having lost "one of the greatest guys in the world".Martin Luscombe, who was one of Mr Marshall's closest friends, said the death had caused huge distress to the many people who loved and admired him.Mr Luscombe, who had played rugby with his friend for many years, said: "He was a genuine family man, and would do anything for anyone without ever moaning about it."Everyone will agree that he was great fun to be around. Things were always fun when Ginge was about."We did almost everything together and had a great time doing it. He was one of the greatest guys in the world and he touched many people's lives."In a heartfelt testimony, Mr Luscombe also said how his friend's young daughter "idolised" her father.He said: "Ginge absolutely doted on his daughter, and Es just loved him so much."He used to take her swimming all the time, and was expecting another child in the New Year."Mr Marshall's partner, Hannah, said: "Ginge was a popular, well-known and loved family man.
