Peter was known to his family as a kind, honest and loving man with a gentle and generous heart.
Peter was a devoted father to John, whom he would give the world for. And this love was extended wholeheartedly to his daughter-in-law Laura and his grandchild, expected this spring.
As son to Alice, Peter showed the embodiment of love and devotion, caring for Alice through her prolonged battle with Alzheimer’s.
Though he did not have siblings, Peter held onto close emotional ties with his cousins, aunties, uncles and extended family, who were always in his thoughts.
To his friends, Peter is remembered for his humour and camaraderie. Time spent with Peter meant you were never far from a joke or a smile. His warmth, loyalty and kindness shining through.
His shared love of golf and football brought him friendships that would last a lifetime.
Those that worked with Peter, often built trusting relationships with him and through his work, many of his closest friendships were formed.
Since his passing, many have expressed how Peter was able to offer them a role model or guidance when they needed it most.
He will be fondly remembered as a man of joy, love and kindness.
