We at Orchard Crescent are saddened to hear of the passing of Derek.
Over recent years, we have missed his friendly face, gentle jokes, engaging chats, and whiff of pipe tobacco left in our porch. He often spoke of his happy marriage to Betty, his early life, his long drives down into the continent and his ever-growing family of children grandchildren, great grandchildren.
Suki and I, also Dominic and Michael, who knew Derek all their lives, would like to express our deepest sympathy to his family and many friends. Derek is greatly missed.
