Robert WilliamARMSTRONG(Newbiggin-by-the Sea) Peacefully with his family by his side on 15th March 2023 aged 94 years. Robert William (Bob) devoted Husband of the late Edna, much loved Dad of Graeme, Richard & Niall, Father in law to Lorraine, Angie & Jackie, treasured Grandad & Great Grandad. Funeral service to take place at St Bartholomew's Church, Newbiggin- by the sea on Monday 3rd April at 11.30am followed by interment at Woodhorn Cemetery. Family flowers only donations in lieu if desired to Cancer Research UK. A donation box will be available at the church. All welcome afterwards for refreshments at the premises of A.J. Gascoigne & Son Tel; 01670818351

Bob, you were true gentleman, you will be sadly missed, I will cherish the day me and Cocker popped in to check on you, Niall was having a wonderful family holiday in turkey with his family, we did a video call your face was priceless, your smile was from ear to ear, when you saw the girls Olivia & Emelia jumping into the swimming pool, you just couldn’t believe you could see them, we then had a cuppa and a chat about your life, which was interesting, I will remember that smile forever ❤️ R.I.P BOB

Dad, you you were a fantastic Dad and friend, the memories we built together together will live in my heart forever. You are going to leave such a huge void in our lives it will be difficult to adjust to not having you in my life every day. I will keep the promise I made to you. Now and always, I love you.
