After a short and unexpected illness, Neil passed away peacefully on the 29th August 2026 at Salford Royal Hospital with his family by his side.
Neil was a devoted and cherished husband to Lauren and the most incredible and adored dad to Lilly and Noah. Beloved and treasured son of Anne and the late Peter and stepson to Paul, and dearly loved and loving brother to Christine.
He was also an adored uncle to Imogen, Wilf, Abel, Iris, Willow and Quinn. As well as a very much-loved son-in-law to David and Christine and dearest brother-in-law to John, Sian, Stephen and Niall.
He was a stepbrother, cousin, colleague and a friend to many.
Neil was known for his quick wit and generous spirit and only brought laughter and light. He will be deeply, deeply missed and lovingly remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter and a large circle of family and friends who he was eternally grateful for and loved dearly.
Funeral and cremation service to be held at Macclesfield Crematorium on Wednesday 30th September at 12.15pm.
Those wishing to attend are warmly invited to join the family and please kindly meet at the crematorium.
There is no dress code. Neil liked his patterns and colour so please wear whatever you feel comfortable wearing. Come as he knew you best x
