JeanASHTONMuch loved wife of Phil and mum to Sue, Christine and Janet. Mother in law to Jason. Devoted Nanna to Abbie and Nicholas. Loving sister of Dot, Billy and Margaret and sister in law to Barbara and Ray. Dearly missed by her many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service to be held at St Mary's, West Derby Village, Liverpool L12 5HJ on Wednesday 20th September at 2.15pm.

Family flowers only; donations to Motor Neurone Disease Association welcomed.

Our family have known Jean for over 40 years. She always had a presence, and you would regularly see her walking "Scooter", tending the Church grounds, or going to her allotment.She was committed to the local community and took a very active part in the school PTA, St Mary's Church and many other activities. A powerhouse of energy that never stopped, but she always had time for anyone whether it be a chat or to give assistance if needed.
A truly lovely and good lady.
She will be sadly missed, and our sympathies go to Phil, Sue, Christine and Janet.

So sad to see this post thinkin of all mrs Ashton's family at this sad time. Mrs Ashton was one of my teachers when I was younger an she was a lovely hind an big hearted lady who will be sadly missed RIP mrs Ashton you will always be in my hart xxx
